Third Day

I get to go to the Third Day concert with my mom-in-love. I'm so excited!!! She had asked me a while ago, and i forgot. I got an e-mail yesterday reminding me. Woohoo!!! That's a pleasent surprise. I have been hearing on the radio about a sold out Thirda Day concert and was a bit bummed I couldn't go. Well, I'll be there : )

Faith used the big girl potty!!!

Yeah!!! Faith is officially a big girl. She used the little girl potty all by herself. Unfortunately, I don't know when she did it. I have been noticing the bathroom getting stinky. I thought it was from dirty diapers, but no...she went pee pee and poo poo in her little potty. Yeah for Faith. Poor Daddy who was so sweet to clean it out. The bathroom is smelling fresher already : ) Our next step is to get rid of the little potty (because that was nasty) and let her use the big potty. She has been climbing up onto the big potty on her own a lot, she just hasn't actually done anything in it. My goal is to not have to buy any more diapers (except maybe for night time).

I can NOT get these girls to take a nap willingly, and it is getting so frusterating. Right now, Hannah is in her bed throwing a tantrum and making her self cry and screaming for daddy. I spent the last hour trying to get them to sleep, with Hannah whining most of the time. She had 3 spankings, and is still struggling. Faith would be pretty easy on her own, but with Hannah throwing tantrums and acting this way, it's hard getting Faith to fall asleep. They absolutely HAVE to have naps, otherwise the rest of our day is filled with whining, crying, and tantrums from Hannah. Any ideas or suggestions? I can't do keep doing this. Hannah is driving me nuts and making me angry. It is very difficult getting anything done (we are moved in now, but our house is a wreck and full of boxes) when I have to spend an hour getting them to sleep, and then they hop out of bed anyway. I need a break!!!

House Update

We have to OK to move into our new rent house. Woohoo!!! So, my dad and I have been painting the past couple days, and dad has offered to continue painting this weekend. Next week I will clean the house well so we have a clean slate for moving in. Next Friday our stuff will be delivered, thanks to the Navy, and Saturday we will move the stuff out of storage and some out of my dad's house. If anyone is available to help out next Saturday, that would be awesome! The next week we will unpack and settle. What is awesome is that there is no rush. We can stay at Papa and Mimi's until the house is comfortable enough to move in. No more sleeping on air mattresses our rushing to get unpacked in 2 days. Woohoo!!!
Now, I am off with my moma dn the girls to visit my aunt Betty Boop, and tomorrow to visit grandma and my aunt teresa.
This is Alex's first duty weekend witht he Air National Guard Reserve Band.
